This June, we honour the radical power of Pride and fatherhood—both as identities and as community practice. In celebration of Pride Month and Father’s Day, this edition uplifts queer leaders, chosen families, caregivers, and advocates who are reshaping how we love, protect, and imagine freedom.

From trans dads and single fathers to queer youth, archivists, technologists, and grassroots organisers, we spotlight those pushing back against silence, erasure, and systems that were never built for us. These changemakers remind us that to father is to guide, to show up, and to make room for new futures—often in spite of injustice.
